Hobbies: Photography-my passion for taking pictures goes way back and my favorite subject to shoot is nature. I love to cook and try new recipes, work in my yard, travel, there's always a good book on my night stand and I'll never pass up the opportunity to visit a museum.

 

Radio Background: WLOQ is the "A to Z" of my days in radio...I started as WLOQ's receptionist and also did some part time On-Air work on the weekends. I got my lucky break when they offered me a full time On-Air position doing 7:00 to midnight and I eventually made my way to Co-Hosting the Morning Show...and I'm having a ball!

 

Fondest WLOQ Memory: Sitting across from Bob James & Joe Sample at a WLOQ artist dinner party and listening to them as they revisited the start of their careers and tried to "one up" each other with a good story or joke.

 

Favorite Local Hangout: My backyard patio-there's no place like home...And anywhere that has me with friends and family.

 

Most Prized Possession: My photo albums, scrapbooks and Dad's pictures and memorabilia from WWII.

What Odd Jobs Have You Had? I served as cook & crew member on a 64 foot Catch sailboat based in the British Virgin Islands and I'm from the "tall corn state" of Iowa so having to detassle corn was a right of passage!
