Le Corsaire

Since its premiere in Paris in 1856, Le Corsaire has dazzled audiences across the world. Performed by dance legends Rudolph Nureyev, Margo Fonteyn and Fernando Bujones, this is the performance that won Bujones the gold medal at the International Ballet Competition in Varna. From swarthy pirates to the sensual harem dancers, Le Corsaire is exhilarating.

Family Series
Ballet for young audiences.
A unique way to introduce your child to the delights and surprises of ballet. Each performance will feature an educational component and/or narration and will last just under an hour.
Come early! Doors open at 10:00 before the performance. Go behind the scenes and learn how a tutu is made, or how pointe shoes are constructed. Or just have fun with coloring, face painting or story time. There’s plenty of opportunities to learn and have fun.
